RAVENS TAKE DOWN MARAUDERS IN WOMEN'S BASKETBALL ACTION

Box Score Ottawa, Ont. - The McMaster women's basketball team was unable to defeat the Carleton Ravens despite a lead going into half time at the Ravens Nest in Ottawa on Saturday night.

The Marauders would earn the first quarter lead by just two with a score of 18-16, and at half would be ahead of the home team 31-28. The third quarter would prove to be McMaster's demise as they allowed the Ravens to score 19 points to their 11. Despite outscoring Carleton in the fourth, the visitors would be unable to make up for their weak third quarter.

Three Marauders would hit double digits including Hailey Milligan with a game-high 18 points and eight rebounds. Rookie Danielle Boiago would add 12, five rebounds and three assists, and Isabel Ormond would score 11 more for McMaster.

For the Ravens, Alyson Bush would score a team-high 16 points with six rebounds and Kendall MacLeod would add 13 more for Carleton in their win.

McMaster will host the Queen's Gaels on Saturday at Burridge Gymnasium at 6pm.
