MARAUDERS FALL TO GEE-GEES ON THE ROAD

Box Score Ottawa, Ont. - The McMaster women's basketball team took their season on the road in the nation's capital to battle the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees.

The home team would blow out the Marauders in the first quarter 29-14, but in the second McMaster would close down the lead to just eight points, allowing Ottawa to score just eight heading into half time.

The third quarter would really be McMaster's downfall as they would give up another 24 and score just 10 of their own. The fourth wouldn't be much better for the Marauders and the final score would be 82-55 in favour of the Gee-Gees.

Four Gee-Gees would hit double digits including Jenna Gilbert who was the games high scorer with 17 points. Maddie Stephen would add another 14 for Ottawa, Tatiana Hanlan would score 12 and Kellie Ring would round it would with ten of her own.

Rookie Danielle Boiago would be the only Marauder to hit double digits with 11 points and guard Liz Burns would add another nine in McMaster's loss.

The Marauders take on the Carleton Ravens tomorrow night at 6pm.
