Guelph, Ont. - The McMaster women's soccer team took on the Guelph Gryphons on the road on Saturday afternoon.

Both teams went scoreless in the first half of the game and it would take until the final minute of the match to score the game's only goal. It came from Gryphon Erica Bain (Niagara Falls, Ont.) to lift Guelph above McMaster for the 1-0 win.

Marauder Taylor Davis (Minesing, Ont.) had three shots on goal in the loss and Nat Kollars (Burlington, Ont.), Emma Mangialardi (Oakville, Ont.) and Mel Van Der Hoop (Oakville, Ont.) had two shots on goal each and were unable to capitalize.

The Marauders host the UOIT Ridgebacks on Sunday afternoon at 1pm at Ron Joyce Stadium.
