Toronto - Three Marauders scored double-digit points in McMaster's three-set win over the Ryerson Rams on Friday night.
After losing two in a row in the opening games of the OUA regular season, the Marauders are now at a .500 record of 2-2. Set scores in the win were 25-18, 25-17, 25-23 in favour of McMaster as they easily took down the hosting Rams.
Third-year outside hitter Kailee Stock (Newmarket, Ont.) recorded a game-high ten kills in the match. Veteran Shannon McRobert (Whitby, Ont.) had five kills, four aces and a block for a total of ten points and joining her with that same number was fellow middle blocker Taylor Brisebois (Bolton, Ont.) who recorded seven kills, two blocks and an ace. Setter Amanda Weldon had a game-high 27 assists in the win.
Chelsea Briscoe (Georgetown, Ont.) was effective for the Rams with nine kills and an ace on the night and both Carli Yim (Markham, Ont.) and Emily Nicholishen (Whitby, Ont.) had ten digs.
The Marauders host the Lakehead Thunderwolves on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
