Kingston, Ont. - The McMaster women's volleyball team lost their second road game of the weekend. In the three set loss, the set scores in favour of the Queen's Gaels were 25-21, 25-13, 25-11.
Lauren Mastroluisi and Shannon McRobert both had five kills for the Marauders in the loss and libero Meagan Nederveen recorded 10 digs.
For Queen's, outside hitters Becky Billings and Natalie Gray were the most effective, recording 12 points each. Billings had a game-high seven aces and Gray killed ten balls in the Gaels take down of the Marauders.
The Marauders finish out the first half of the season with a 3-5 record. They begin the season again in January, lined up to play the Brock Badgers on January 6 to get back on track for the 2011-12 season.
