HAMILTON ON - Ontario University Athletics (OUA) announced the 2004 men's rugby all-stars and major award winners today. Third year prop Dan Pletch was selected as this year's recipient of the 2004 OUA west division All-Around Contributor/Trillium Award recipient. Pletch was an integral part of a 6-1 regular season finish for the Marauders. He scored 6 regular season tries for 30 points putting him at eleventh in the league in scoring. He was also selected to this year's OUA West All-star team.

In addition to Pletch, Marauders Steve Shortly, Aaron Carpenter, Spencer Fullerton, and Daniel West were all selected to the OUA All-star team. Fullerton was the Marauders top scorer, and third in the OUA this season with 60 points. Carpenter, the 2003 OUA MVP, was fifth in the OUA in scoring with 50 points on 10 tries. Shortly was right behind Carpenter at sixth in league scoring with 45 points on 9 tries.
