McMaster Experience: 7th season
Coach Pain returns to the staff in 2016 after stepping away for one season. A former player for the Marauders from 1992-96, Pain previously served six years on the McMaster football staff as a linebacker coach and assistant defensive coordinator. He has spent the last 18 years coaching junior and senior football teams at the secondary schools where he has worked. His coaching journey started at M.M. Robinson in Burlington, then as Grad Assistant at McMaster before moving to Hamilton Glendale for 10 years, and finally spending the last seven seasons at Hamilton Westmount. Coach Pain was the recipient of the 2016 McMaster High School Coaching Achievement Award. He lives in Cayuga with wife Jen and sons Luke and Zach.
