A third-year outside hitter out of Vanier, Ontario, Jori Mantha had a monster weekend as he led the McMaster Marauders to the 2013 OUA men’s volleyball championship.

In the Friday semi-final versus York, Mantha led the Marauders to a 3-0 victory with 16 points, on an ultra-efficient hitting percentage of .765%. He was awarded player of the match honours for the Marauders.

In the OUA final against Western, the graduate of Glebe Collegiate Institute stepped up his performance and registered an outstanding 28 points and 25 kills in the gold medal match to lead McMaster to a 3-1 victory. Mantha was named the MVP of the OUA Championship tournament for his outstanding play over both nights.
