Returning to the Marauders rowing program for a second stint as a postgraduate student, Myma Okuda-Rayfuse picked up where she left off in 2017 and provided McMaster’s highlight performance at the OUA Championships in St. Catharines.

Racing as Mac’s entrant in the lightweight women’s single event, the Ottawa native won her heat with a time of 9:01 on the opening day of the regatta Friday, and followed with a time of 8:11.9 on Saturday that earned her bronze.

Okuda-Rayfuse’s medal was McMaster’s lone podium finish on the weekend, as both Marauders programs finished ninth in the team standings.
