The veteran pitcher concluded an exceptional regular season on the mound by notching his third win and complete game in as many starts in 2019. He got the start in the second half of Saturday’s penultimate doubleheader against the Laurier Golden Hawks, and allowed just three earned runs and seven hits over the course of seven innings. He struck out a whopping 13 of the 33 batters he faced in the win and walked just four.

Tymochko’s effort helped McMaster roll to a 14-3 win, as they concluded the season ahead of the OUA Championship, which takes place at the Ajax Sportsplex between October 11 and 13.
