Opening her season in style this past weekend, the Marauders second-year catcher had an incredible total of 11 hits from 16 at bats across her team’s four-game slate at Victoria Park. That tally included 10 singles and one double, with Guennel accounting for five RBI and scoring four runs herself. Her haul at the plate earned Guennel a weekend-long 1.43 OPS.

Guennel’s prolific weekend helped McMaster to a 2-2 record for the weekend, splitting doubleheaders against the Queen’s Gaels and York Lions.
