Sunday saw the Marauders defence turn in a virtuoso performance as a group, which propelled McMaster to a 35-22 win over the Ottawa Gee-Gees and a 2-0 start to the OUA season.

In a unit laden with outstanding efforts, veteran defensive halfback Noah Hallett produced the most well-rounded of all. The fourth-year Health & Society major from London, Ont. racked up four solo tackles, two sacks for a total of 16 yards and one of McMaster’s six interceptions on the afternoon, reprising his role as the hard-hitting leader of the Marauders defence.
