Putting her skills on display in both the freestyle and medley events, the Surrey, BC native graced the individual podium twice over the course of the three-day OUA Championships in St. Catharines, and helped the Marauders women to team silver.
Lei took home silver in the 200m individual medley and added bronze in the 400m freestyle event, while taking part in the McMaster 4x200m freestyle and 4x100m medley relays that both won bronze.
Her performances served as the pace-setters for a remarkable pack performance from the Marauders which saw the McMaster women reach 19 ‘A’ finals over the course of the meet, and ultimately come away from St. Catharines with conference silver for the first time since 2007.
