The fourth-year swimmer from Mississauga, Ont. put his progression in his specialty events on display this past weekend in Toronto, dominating the middle and long distance freestyle variations en route to three medals at the Fairweather Divisional Championships.

Muizelaar won gold at both 400 and 1500m, getting the better of Western’s Sebastian Paulins each time, while adding bronze at 200m. He accounted for three of the four total medals won by the McMaster men at the meet, which concluded the fall swimming schedule ahead of the exam and holiday break.
