Enjoying a historic day in London Saturday, the Whitby, Ont. native built upon his Rookie of the Year performance at last year’s OUA Championships by winning the 2018 race outright. The second-year Mechatronics Engineering & Management major blasted through the muddy and rainy 10km course at the Thames Valley Golf and Country Club in 31:57 to edge Guelph’s Mark Patton for gold, becoming just the third Marauder to win the men’s individual title at the conference race.

His efforts helped the Marauders win gold as a team, as Mac secured its first title at the OUA Championships since concluding a three-year dynasty in 1964.
