Occupying the centre position for the Marauders in their season-opening 50-26 win over the York Lions Sunday, Britni French was at the heart of her team’s first-half onslaught. French had a try of her own and created a pair scoring plays for others, while adding her presence to McMaster’s defensive efforts through the middle of the park.
