McMaster’s defending Male Rookie of the Year, Brad MaGarrey continues to excel in the second year of his Marauders wrestling career.
 
The local Hamilton product was one of Mac’s two gold medalists at the York Open this past weekend, as the McMaster men finished second among OUA teams at the event. MaGarrey topped the 82kg weight class and got the better of the hosts’ Mohab El-Nahas in the final match, joining veteran teammate Ahmed Shamiya as a winner on the day.
