This fifth-year veteran and team captain came up big for the Marauders in the opening weekend of the OUA regular season. In their loss to No. 3 Carleton, the Hamilton native recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. On Saturday, Chiarot helped take down the No. 10 Ottawa Gee-Gee's scoring a team-high 20 points and grabbing seven rebounds in a game that  went to overtime.
