Seeing action for just the second time in his young Marauders career Saturday, Mitch Garland made a strong impression. The rookie defensive back had two interceptions in McMaster’s 35-0 win over Waterloo, returning them for a combined 71 yards while adding one solo tackle and two assists. His was the leading performance in a masterful day for Mac’s ball hawks, as the Marauders hauled in five picks from four different players.
