The second-year Marauder provided the highlight of a stellar Ontario Junior Provincial Championship tournament, defending his title in the 66kg weight class by defeating Guelph’s Zander Chaves by technical superiority in the gold medal match. His was Mac’s only gold of the event, but one of four medals for the CIS no. 2-ranked Marauder men’s team, who took home the overall gold on Saturday.
