Connor Gilmore had a career day on Saturday afternoon, as he helped the Marauders to their sixth straight OUA victory as they beat Laurier 105-81 in Waterloo.
Gilmore scored a career-high 32 points to pace the Mac attack, hitting 11 of 14 shots from the floor, including an amazing eight of 10 (80 per cent) from three-point range, falling just one short of the McMaster record for 3-point field goals in a game. He was also two of three from the charity stripe and grabbed nine rebounds.
Earlier in the week (Jan. 13), Gilmore scored 10 points in a 93-66 win over the Waterloo Warriors, to finish the week with a 21 points-per-game average over the two games.
