Continuing his early season bid for Player of the Year status in the OUA, Stephen Maar put together another sparkling weekend as the Marauders stretched their run of consecutive sweeps to eight and moved to 9-0 overall. Serving tough on Friday, Maar had three aces and six kills in his team’s straight set win over the Western Mustangs, and he followed with a near-perfect match the next night.

Maar hit 17 for 24 with just a single error (67 per cent) while adding a block and a half for a game high of 18.5 points, leading McMaster past the Windsor Lancers in straight sets.
