Rookie forward Gersi Xhuti scored the game winning goal in McMaster's win over the Guelph Gryphons to advance to the OUA Final Four. In the 82nd minute, the OUA West Rookie of the Year scored off a rebound from a saved penalty shot. The Marauder was also named an OUA First-Team All-Star earlier in the weekend as the leagues top rookie.
