The veteran leader of the McMaster women’s cross country team, Maddy McDonald returned to the trails on Saturday to lead her squad to gold at the Western International. The fourth-year runner finished fourth overall — just a second back of the individual podium — and scored third to provide the Marauders low post. McMaster finished with a team score of 74, four ahead of the silver medalists from Laurentian.
