In her third appearance at the OUA Championships, Mittermaier led the Marauder women with five medals and reaffirmed her status as one of the top freestyle swimmers in the country. She opened the three-day championship meet with silver in the 50m freestyle event, before contributing to McMaster's bronze-medal entry in the 200m free relay. She followed those performances with bronze in the 100m freestyle on Friday, and another podium place as part of the 400m medley relay team that took home bronze as well. Mittermaier closed the conference championships with silver – this time as a part of the 400m freestyle relay – as McMaster narrowly missed the women's podium as a team in finishing fourth.
