After the Marauders and Gryphons went into the halftime break knotted at one goal apiece, Yeboah struck against the run of play in the 56th minute, deflecting a corner kick past the Guelph keeper from short range to give McMaster the lead. She and her teammates would not look back from there, holding the Gryphons off the scoreboard for the remainder of the match and evening their conference record at 1-1.
