Make it two conference titles for Jenn Akerman in two years of competition. The Marauders' second-year fencer provided the team's highlight at the OUA Women's Fencing Championship this past weekend, defending her gold medal in the foil event. Akerman was the recipient of the Maître Ken Wood Trophy for her performance in the foil event, and was subsequently named as an OUA All-Star. She also received the Dave O'Donnell Trophy for exemplary sportswomanship at the event.
