Once again, Konrad Bald put his dominance of the breast stroke on display this past weekend, climbing the podium five times and involving himself in two OUA record swims, as the Marauder men claimed silver at the OUA Swimming Championships. The fourth-year Marauder won individual gold in the 50m and 100m breast stroke events, breaking the conference record in the 50m event with a time of 27.88. Bald closed out the breast stroke events with a silver medal in the 200m, but excelled once more as part of the Marauders' relay teams. Alongside Eric Anderson, Mo Eldah and Matt Vogelzang, Bald won gold in the 200m medley relay, as the team set a new OUA record time of 1:40.31. He rounded out his five-medal weekend with a bronze alongside Anderson, Marc Muise and Kurt Schubert in the 400m free relay.
