In two OUA season-opening wins, second-year guard Danielle Boiago (Hamilton, Ont.) was outstanding for the Marauder women’s basketball team. In a 70-35 victory over Toronto, Boiago scored 15 points, grabbed eight rebounds, made three steals and dished out two assists without committing a turnover. The following night against Ryerson, she led the Marauders in scoring with 19 points in a 66-42 triumph over the Rams. She added three rebounds and three steals, while making five assists and committing only one turnover. Her consistent effort over the two nights allowed McMaster to sweep the opening weekend for a strong start to the OUA interlock part of the schedule.
