McMaster Experience: 9 seasons
Coach Segin returns for his ninth season working with the Marauders punters and kickers, and as a special teams assistant. A graduate of St. Mary’s University in Halifax, Coach Segin spent two seasons in the CFL with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 2002-03. He then moved into coaching and spent eleven years with the Burlington Minor Football Association until 2009.
From 2010-2014 Coach Segin worked with three-time All-Canadian kicker Tyler Crapigna, who had one of the most successful careers in CIS history and is now a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL.
In addition to his coaching duties at Mac, Coach Segin runs the Good-For-3 kicking camp at McMaster each spring. He is also an annual presenter on kicking & punting, and is the sole Canadian Board member of the NIke Coach of The Year Clinic that is held in Pittsburgh, PA each year.
