Sean Underhill (Hamilton, Ont.) have been crowned this week's TwelvEighty Athletes of the Week following standout performances in a pair of McMaster home-opening victories.
Emma Fluit (London, Ont.)

Emma Fluit delivered an outstanding performance on both ends of the pitch as the Marauders opened their 2026 OUA season with a dominant 7-0 victory over the Algoma Thunderbirds at Ron Joyce Stadium.
Fluit played a part in four of McMaster's seven goals, finishing the night with one goal and three assists. She found the back of the net in the 27th minute to give the Marauders a 2-0 advantage heading into halftime.
The veteran continued to make an impact after the break, setting up three consecutive McMaster goals. Fluit assisted
Saleena Braich in the 63rd minute,
Akeelah Omokhua in the 69th and
Mia Paiement in the 78th as the Marauders pulled away.
Fluit finished the match with four points while helping the McMaster back line hold Algoma without a shot in the 7-0 shutout. McMaster controlled play throughout the night, outshooting the Thunderbirds 23-0 and earning 12 corner kicks.
Sean Underhill (Hamilton, Ont.)
Sean Underhill provided one of the biggest plays of the weekend as McMaster opened its 2026 OUA season with a thrilling 31-26 victory over the Windsor Lancers at Ron Joyce Stadium.
With McMaster leading 20-17 midway through the third quarter, Underhill fielded a missed 57-yard Windsor field goal deep in Marauders territory and took it 124 yards to the end zone, extending McMaster's advantage to 27-17.
Underhill was a difference-maker throughout the night on special teams, finishing with 169 punt-return yards on four returns, an average of 42.3 yards per return, including his 124-yard touchdown.
The defensive back also contributed three tackles as part of a Marauders defence that recorded four sacks and forced two Windsor turnovers.
Underhill's explosive return proved crucial as McMaster held off a late Windsor push to secure a five-point victory and begin the season 1-0.
