After a vicious victory in Burridge last night, the Marauders came down from the high to try and protect home court. However, The fell short in doing so, as Ottawa took the game 72-59.

Leading the Marauders off the bench,
AY Osunde played 33 minutes and scored 18 points to lead McMaster. Osunde also recorded five rebounds.
Brendan Amoyaw added 11 points, while
Mike Demagus, hit 12 points, and a team-high of seven rebounds .

The Gee Gees team led from the start, racing out to a 7-0 lead from which McMaster never recovered. The Marauders chased the lead for the remainder, and almost broke a tie a after a layup and one from
Brendan Amoyaw in the middle of the quarter. With steady and sturdy stats, the Marauders went 6-10 from the field, 3-6 from the 3-point zone, and 2-3 free throws. The quality of shots was there, but the lack of shots hit dug the team a hole. Â

In the second quarter, McMaster outscored the Gee Gees 16-17. However, the Gee Gees responded in the third putting up an additional 24 points. Of the Marauders 16, five came from
AY Osunde, who kept the crowd in it. While the energy was still high, the fourth quarter held a taste of defeat, with Ottawa locking in on the win in the lowest points quarter of the night.Â

The undefeated Gee Gees came in and gave the Marauders good competition, ending Mac's win streak 72-59.

The Marauders never got closer than the a 12 point margin in the final quarter, shooting .333 percent (16-48) from the field in the second half. Notable mentions to the Marauders' bench, who posted 26 points.Â

The Marauders will go on a winter hiatus, and return to competition on January 6th, when they will host the York Lions in Burridge Gymnasium.
