The McMaster Marauders men's basketball team put on a clinic in Burridge Gym on Friday evening, defeating the Waterloo Warriors 88-69.
It was a dominant showing from start to finish for the home team who put 30 points up in the first quarter alone - sending at statement from the onset of the whistle.
Mychael Paulo led all scorers with 17 points on the night on an efficient 7-10 shooting from the floor to go with six rebounds.

Nathan Charles both pouried in 16 points each, with Charles grabbing a double-double with 14 boards off the bench.
As a team the Marauders shot 43.7% from the floor, closely contested by the Warriors 39.7% shooting. But the real difference came in second chance points - the Marauders put up 17 second-chance points compared to the Warriors two in due part to 17 offensive rebounds.
It was the second unit for the Warriors that carried much of the scoring led, putting up 51 points behind Reuben Hasebenebi and Josh Akuamoah's 13 poinst each. But the Marauders couldn't be contained, their largest lead came in the third period where the team put up 33 points and went into cruise control.
This marks the third straight win for the Marauders who move up to 10-4 on the season and look to lock up second-place in the OUA West Division. The only team in their way is the third-place Laurier Golden Hawks - both teams meet next week for the final home-and-home of the season with McMaster hitting the road first on Wednesday followed by a return trip on Saturday for the regular season finale.
