Brisebois returned to the Marauder lineup after suffering a preseason injury, and immediately made her presence felt. The third-year middle paced McMaster to consecutive victories over the Lakehead Thunderwolves, as the Marauders levelled their conference record at 3-3 and moved within striking distance of the OUA West-leading Windsor Lancers. Brisebois notched nine points in her team's first match of the weekend on Friday, converting six of 11 hitting attempts (54.5 per cent) and adding an ace and four block assists as McMaster swept the Thunderwolves in straight sets. A day later, Brisebois took on an even larger role, leading the Marauders with 14 points on 11 of 19 hitting (42.1 per cent), one ace, one solo block and two block assists. She was named as the Big Mac Player of the Game for her efforts.
