The OUA soccer season is months away, but four Marauders will return to the pitch this coming weekend for the OUA Soccer Showcase in Oshawa, Ontario.

Midfielder Noor Sakran of the McMaster women's team will represent Team West in the women's showcase on Saturday, May 2, while the trio of defender Tony Li, midfielder Yunus Mollayev and striker Sasha Riccuiti will appear on behalf of the CIS silver-medal winning Marauder men's team for Team West in the men's showcase on Sunday.

Once again this year, the OUA Soccer Showcase will be played in conjunction with the Ontario Youth Soccer League (OSYL) University Fair, with Saturday's women's showcase getting underway at 1:00 p.m. and the men's game following at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.

This event is run with the support of the OYSL and is designed to showcase Ontario university soccer to prospective student-athletes. 

Teams were selected by the top coaches from OUA with each East and West team consisting of all-stars and players from across the league.

In addition to the OUA showcase games, prospective student-athletes, parents, fans and coaches will have an opportunity to attend the OYSL University Fair where they can speak with representatives from soccer programs across Ontario.

The OUA Showcase games will take place at the Civic Recreation Complex, located at 99 Thornton Road South in Oshawa.  Admission to both games as well as the OYSL University Fair is free.
