The Marauder women’s cross country team competed on two fronts on Saturday and posted impressive results at both events.
The McMaster women took a team to the Princeton Invitational in New Jersey, where the Marauders placed second out of 25 teams. Top finish for the Maroon came from Victoria Coates who placed second individually, while rookie Madeline McDonald continued to perform well, finishing in third place. Other top scoring results included Jill Wyman and Stephanie MacNeill, who placed 16th and 18th respectively.

The Marauders also competed at the Vic Matthews Invitational in Guelph, where McMaster’s Lindsay Carson posted the fastest time in the 5K women's race, while Courtney Patterson placed 12th individually. The women's team placed 4th out of 16 teams at the meet.
On the men’s side at the Guelph meet, McMaster placed third amongst university teams, behind Guelph (1st) and Windsor (2
nd).
Rookie Connor Darlington was the top McMaster finisher, while Taylor Reid, Jordan Bierema, and Austen Forbes all had solid performances. Only 13 seconds separated Mac’s first and fifth runners.
