Katie Anderson ran a CIS standard time of 4:30.18 in the 1500m to place second at the McGill Team Challenge.
Anderson made a huge kick at the end of the race, but ran out of room chasing Toronto's Tamara Jewett who won the race in a time of 4:30.18. Lindsay Carson was very close behind in 4:31.97 to grab the bronze. Victoria Coates was 9th with a seasonal best time of 4.38.70.
Anderson and Carson teamed up with Chelsea Mackinnon and Sarah Haliburton to place second in in the 4x800 relay behind Western. The women's 4x800 team ran 9:07.00 missing CIS standard by 4/100th of a second.
Jessica Tat improved on her 600m season time running 1:36.95 and placing 10th while Chelsea Mackinnon placed 14th running OUA standard in 1:38.06.
Laura Morrison ran a personal best time in the women's 1000m running 2:58.53 ranking her 7th in the OUA.
In the men's competition, Graham Bowes ran a hug personal best time in the 1500m finishing in 3:53.86 to place fifth moving him to ninth in the CIS ranking. His performance also ranked Bowes third on the all time in McMaster history in the 1500m.
The marauder men set numerous personal best times in the 3000m. Andrew Bysice was 8th in 8:42.24, while Jordan Bierema placed 11th in 8:44.05 and Ryan Tice was close behind in 12th running 8:44.44.
Rudy Baronette came close to McMaster 300m record, running 35.51 and placing 8th overall. Jimmy Tat who held the record last year before being broken by teammate Scott Hutchinson ran 35.99. Hutchinson who is sidelined with an injury presently holds the record in 35.17.
Baronette and Tat along with George Dicenzo and Brandon Huzevka placed sixth in the men's 4X400m relay. Dicenzo also ran the 600m, running a personal best in 1:24.18.
