Bill played an unequalled eight seasons with the McMaster soccer team, the last four as captain, including the 1964 championship season while working on his Ph.D. One of Canada's pre-eminent nuclear physicists, Bill has held many prestigious academic po sitions and is the author of many articles and reports in the nuclear field.
