Sarah (Sterling) Reed was a dominant force on the Marauder women’s basketball team of the early 2000’s. A key forward who played a pivotal role on the McMaster OUA Championship team in 2002-2003, Sarah was named team co-MVP that season before earning another MVP nod in her final season in the maroon and grey.

Sarah was a two-time Athlete of the Year Finalist and racked up several accolades in the OUA, winning OUA West Player of the Year while twice being named to OUA All-Star teams.

In the 2004-05 season, her final season as a Marauder, Sarah was the leading scorer and Co-Captain. Her accomplishments didn’t go unnoticed on the national stage as she landed on the CIS Second Team All-Canadian list.
