Darragh played all four years of varsity football and three years of varsity basketball, serving as co-captain of the Marauders football team in his graduating year. He later played with the Montreal Allouettes in the CFL for a season and studied law at Osgoode Hall. A provincial court judge, Darragh skied and played squash at a competitive level. He died in 1997.
