ROGER MARTINDILL '81
Cross Country, Track
Whether on the track running long distance or on the cross country trail, Roger Martindill was McMaster's top threat to medal over his four-year varsity career. As a first-year athlete in 1977, Martindill captured the OUAA Gold medal in the 10,000-metre event and was named the Most Valuable Player of the Marauder track team. In 1980, he captured the Silver medal over 10,000-metres at the OUAA championships. In addition to his exploits on the track, Martindill was named a CIAU All-Canadian for Cross Country in both 1977 and 1978.
