If there was a sport to be played at Mac, chances are Lyn coached it and coached it well. She was Director of Women's Athletics from 1958-63, combining the rigors of coaching with being a School of Physical Education faculty member. A fine motivator and teacher of fundamental skills, Lyn coached basketball, volleyball, badminton, tennis, and archery. She spent a decade with the Canadian Red Cross Society (training & development), and continues to do much community work. Lyn resides in Oakville with husband, Gordon; their three children were each athletes while attending Queen's University.
