McMaster University Athletics

Goodwin arrived at McMaster in 1948 and proceeded to make a major impact on women's athletics. Alongside her duties as a physical education instructor, Goodwin single-handedly administered all of the women's sports. She was a coach for no less than nine varsity teams during her stay and was instrumental in getting McMaster accepted into the Women's Intercollegiate Athletic Union.
