GREG MARSHALL
Coach, Football

Upon arriving at McMaster in 1997, Greg Marshall directed the Marauder football team to unprecedented success over his seven-year tenure. In his second season, Coach Marshall guided McMaster back into the OUA playoffs after an abscence of 12 years. The 2000 season saw Marshall complete the journey from worst to first, as the Marauders captured McMaster's first-ever Yates Cup Championship, which also was the first of a record four consecutive OUA titles. Twice named the OUA Coach of the Year (1999 and 2000), Coach Marshall was also recognized by his peers as the CIS Coach of the Year for the 2000 season, receiving the Frank Tindall Trophy. His overall record at McMaster was an impressive 53 wins, 18 losses and two ties. In both the 2002 and 2003 seasons, Marshall coached the Marauders to undefeated conference records.
