FRANK DONLAVEY
Women's Soccer Coach

During his 12 years as head coach of McMaster women’s soccer Donlavey guided the Marauders to four national championship tournaments, winning the CIAU title in 1991; bringing home the national bronze medal in 1997. Donlavey was recognized as OUAA coach of the year three times, and in 1992 he was named CIAU Coach of the Year. Honoured as a McMaster University Athletics Friend of Distinction, Donlavey was called an inspiring influence by his players, and saw his Marauder squad win 33 consecutive games in the early 1990s when McMaster emerged as a power in women’s soccer.
