As a member of both the varsity basketball and volleyball teams all four of her years as a McMaster student, Donna showed her athletic prowess. Donna was President of the Women's Athletic Association and captain of both the women's volleyball and basketball teams from 1956-57. During those years she received First Grade colours for both Basketball and Volleyball, and was the recipient of the Dr. Edna Guest Trophy. She also participated in numerous intramural sports. In recognition of her athletic accomplishments Donna graduated in 1957 as a letterman recipient.
