Rarely does an athlete dominate a sport for her entire career the way Debbie did. From her first vault to her last dismount, she excelled at every event that she tried. Her honours in gymnastics include the 'M' and "Plaque' awards, plus she was twice named team MVP. She won three OWIAA all-around individual titles, was a five-time CIAU all-star, and was part of three OWIAA championship teams and a CIAU championship team.
