Dave was off to a great start as a member of the McMaster Marauders rugby team. He received Rookie of the Year honours in 1981, and he didn’t look back from there. He was named OUAA All Star in four consecutive seasons (1983- 1986) and was twice named team MVP (1983 and 1984). He was Captain and led the team in scoring in 1984 and 1985. Dave was also a member of the Men’s Athletic Council, and the rugby writer for the McMaster Silhouette. Dave is married with two daughters and he continues in rugby as player, coach and administrator.
