A complete player, who combined tough defense with a soft shooting touch, Rocca made an immediate impact on the McMaster squad as the OUA Rookie of the Year and a member of the CIS All-Rookie team in 2004.  She went on to be named an OUA All-star four times, as well as being named the OUA and CIS Defensive Player of the Year in 2006, which was the same season she was named the team MVP.  Chiara helped the Marauders win two OUA Championships in 2006 and 2008, and the team also brought home the CIS bronze medal in 2008.  She graduated in 2007 as McMaster's all-time leader for OUA career rebounds with 760, and as of the date of her induction, still holds the second spot on that list.
