McMaster University Athletics

Cathie spent ten years in McMaster's basketball program, four as a player and six as a coach. She taught several national coaching certification program courses and introduced coaching to Mac's Physical Education curriculum. She was also OWIAA basketball convener in 1980-81 and one of the original members of the Women's Athletic Alumnae Committee. Cathie helped to negotiate ongoing government funding of the Ontario Women's interuniversity Athletic Association in 1989.
